The first Deloitte Access Economics Report on the Economic analysis of motor neurone disease (MND) in Australia reveals that the total cost of MND in Australia was $2.37 billion in 2015, comprising $430.9 million in economic costs and $1.94 billion in burden of disease costs. The report, commissioned by MND Australia, was launched at Parliament House, Canberra on 24 February 2016.

Care for CarersAre you caring for family member or friend with MND? Registrations are now open for the MND NSW 2016 Care for Carers program to be held in May and June 2016 at the MND NSW Centre at Gladesville. This program, which runs one day a week over four weeks, is only offered once a year and it is never too early to attend.

MND NSW partners with Carers NSW and their National Counselling program, to offer our current carers and past carers the Talk-Link Programs. These are telephone group programs led by experienced counsellors.
