“Cleared up some doubts”, was one participant’s comment after the MND NSW Ask the Experts Forum at West Ryde in August. This Forum, held annually, aims to provide people with MND, their family and friends the opportunity to hear from experts in the fields of MND research and neurology and to ask questions.

Thank you and congratulations to the amazing staff at Quakers Hill Veterinary Hospital who have raised over $7,500 for MND NSW. A staff member has been diagnosed with MND and they are raising money to hopefully one day find a cure. Fundraising events have included a High Tea for MND, a staff Ice Bucket Challenge and a cutest pet competition.

Thank you to Sam Brantsma and the staff at Thredbo Alpine Hotel who raised $3,140 for MND NSW in support of a former staff member with MND. The fundraising night included games, prizes and a silent auction while watching the first State of Origin on the big screen. Sam said of the night, “The night was a big success, full of laughs and memorable moments, incredible generosity and overall recognition of a great cause from all.”
