A great Walk and a fantastic roll up despite the weather. Port Macquarie locals turned out in droves to show their support for people living with MND. Whilst the weather was a bit drab the atmosphere and camaraderie among the crowd was electric. What a great sight it was to see hundreds of supporters in their Blue walk t-shirts lining the pathway between Westport Park and Town Beach. Thank you to everyone that participated, helping us raise over $20,000 for research and support of people living with MND. Look out Wagga here we come.

Thank you to Nick and Sara Tredler, Kickeroos and Active8kids Gymnastics who raised $340 in support of MND NSW during a fun last week of term. The children participating in the program were asked to dress up and make a donation during the make a donation week. Kickeroos and Active8kids run soccer and gymnastics programs for children that encompass fun, physical activity and learning new skills. Thank you for your support.

This is the fifth year that the Yerrinbool Bargo Soccer Club has organised this event to help Glenn and his family and to raise funds and awareness for MND. Funds were raised from a soccer day and a fundraiser evening held at the Bargo Hotel, a great night with lots of people in attendance and auctions throughout the night. Close to $10,000 was raised for MND NSW. Our thanks to everyone involved for their continued support, and to the many businesses and people who donated towards the event.

Congratulations to the French Forest Lions Club for their Trivia Night held for the second year as a fundraiser for MND NSW. With over 100 in attendance it was a great night. MND NSW Ambassador Suzanne Ballinger attended on the night and spoke about the work of the Association and of the impact of the continued support of the Club on the services our Association provides to members.
