Information evenings for people who are newly diagnosed with motor neurone disease ensure that help is available at a time when many questions need to be answered.
During these informal evenings, people who have been recently diagnosed with motor neurone disease, and their family and friends, are provided with information about motor neurone disease.
Information evenings provide the opportunity for you to ask questions about motor neurone disease and to meet others in a similar situation.
The program includes:
- an overview of motor neurone disease
- information about living with motor neurone disease
- information about support services available from the MND Association and in the community.
You can also discuss care management with the MND NSW Support Service team.
Information Evenings are held every two months at the MND NSW Centre at Gladesville.
To find out when the next Information Evening will be held, see the calendar. There is no charge to attend this program but bookings are essential. Contact the MND NSW Info Line to make your booking.
If you do not live in Sydney and you cannot make it to Gladesville to attend an Information Evening, contact the MND NSW Info Line and we may be able to arrange an Information Evening in your area.
