Applications are now open for the MND Research Institute of Australia 2017 funding round for new research grants commencing in 2018. Closing date: 6 pm (AEST), Friday 25 August 2017.
Research grants offered for 2018 include 12-month grants-in-aid (up to $100,000), three-year post-doctoral fellowships, a PhD scholarship and PhD top-up grants. In addition, the Betty Laidlaw MND Research Prize aims to reward an outstanding mid-career researcher with a demonstrated background of excellence in neuroscience research. The Prize offers $250,000 for a 12 month project.
Funding decisions will be made by the MNDRIA Research Committee at a Grants Allocation Meeting on 9 November 2017.
