Is the skin on your bottom, heals, elbow, shoulder or the back of your head sore? Maybe you’re experiencing pain and discomfort from sitting in a chair or lying in bed for long periods without moving or shifting positions? You need pressure care!
People with MND lose muscle and spend longer periods without movement and without changing position. This leads to discomfort and can produce painful pressure injuries.
Prevention of pressure injuries is key and one method to manage this is with pressure care technology.
FlexEquip have pressure care cushions, mattresses, armchair overlays and electric raiser recliners that are built with pressure carer cushioning. See below for some pics.
Pressure care equipment can be made with different types of material such as air, foam, gel or a combination.
