The rental of a Sara Stedy from FlexEquip is available to:

  • A person diagnosed with MND over the age of 65.
  • An NDIS participant who has approved FlexEquip Bundle in their NDIS plan.

3 easy steps:

  1. Ask your Occupational Therapist (OT) if the Sara Stedy is suitable for you.
  2. Your OT makes the referral on the FlexEquip website.
  3. FlexEquip sends you the item.

How much does a Arjo Sara Stedy cost to access?

For people over the age of 65 without a NDIS plan, MND NSW will cover the cost of hire, delivery and maintenance of all FlexEquip items, including the Arjo Sara Stedy.

The NDIS will fund the hire of an Arjo Sara Stedy for adults with assistive technology funding in their NDIS plan.
