Webinar: Supporting the Psychological Wellbeing of MND Carers

According to the recent report released by MND Australia ‘Every Moment Matters: Addressing the human and economic toll of motor neurone disease in Australia’, MND carers experience many emotions and are constantly adjusting to the various demands of their caring role. This can include isolation, stress, anxiety, sadness, and guilt. (2025: pp 40-42)).
October is Mental Health Awareness Month. To help raise awareness and in the spirit of National Carers Week which is just prior to this event, we will be joined by Paul Cafarella to talk about psychological wellbeing for MND carers.
As a MND carer know that you are not alone. This webinar is open to all MND carers in NSW, ACT and NT. We invite all members of the MND NSW Carer Program, as well as any other carers in the MND community to attend.
Come along to this online event and find out:
- What are the challenges to a MND carer’s psychological wellbeing
- The importance of self-care and helpful strategies
- Handy resources or services that are available to MND carers.
Bring your questions, concerns and well-being strategies to share!
