Every month, Lake Macquarie City Council organises a Jeans Day (like a mufti day) for staff to raise money for a chosen charity, and this January just past, we were the lucky recipients!
With members of the council having a personal connection to MND, the staff raised $259 for us. To put it in perspective this could buy two shower chairs that we could supply to people living with MND at no cost to their families.
A huge thank you to everyone who wore their fave jeans on the day and got involved!
