Our education team had an extensive education calendar prepared and planned for 2020, trialling new events, many in regional areas covering North, South, East and West of NSW and in the ACT. And just because the situation has changed we don’t want you to miss out so we’re taking as many education and information events as we can online.
Given the current situation we’re taking MND week online!
MND Week is celebrated nationally in the first week of May (this year it’s the 3rd to 9th May 2020) to raise awareness of the needs of people living with MND and their families. It’s a time to acknowledge the MND community and people living with MND today and to remember those who have passed. This year, while we can’t run any face to face events, we have a bunch of virtual ways to get involved (some yet to be announced) and more than ever, we really need your help to get the word out there.

We’re POSTPONING the Illawarra National Walk to d’Feet MND and our Hunter Walk to d’Feet MND due to current concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID 19). We’ll be rescheduling and will let you know when we’ve locked in a date. We hope you can still get involved – it won’t be the same without you.
What a start to 2020 it has been! The past few weeks have certainly been challenging in nearly every aspect of our lives. We, like you have been trying to keep ourselves updated with what we need to do and ensure we play our part in reducing the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
