Applications are closing soon for the Susie Harris Travel Fellowship and the MND Research Institute of Australia PhD Scholarship Top-up Grant. Applicants must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status. Applications close at 6 pm AEDT on Friday 27 January 2017.
The Susie Harris Travel Fellowship aims to promote overseas activities that will enhance the quality of services, management or research for people living with MND. It provides funds to attend the 2017 International Symposium on ALS/MND, in addition to visiting a laboratory, hospital or care centre for training in new techniques, knowledge or conduct of collaborative research valuable for MND. This Fellowship is funded by the Susie Harris Memorial Fund, in memory of the late Susie Harris.
The MNDRIA PhD Top-up Grant is an incentive for an outstanding student who has been awarded a University PhD scholarship for biomedical or public health research in MND. One PhD top-up grant (up to three years) is available.
