For Kerry Thomas, taking on the MND NSW Three Peaks challenge in November is a chance to step outside of her comfort zone, spend time with her sister, and raise awareness and much-needed funds for people living with MND.
She has signed up for the adventure with her sister Nicole, and together they will trek some of the most iconic mountains in Australia.
Kerry is a carer for her husband Mark, who lives with MND, so the challenge was one that encouraged her to work on her own health and fitness for a cause close to her heart.
Ian and his wife Tracey are repeat Walkers, having come along to our Penrith, Port Macquarie, Hunter, Central Coast and our Virtual Walks previously, including with their daughter Rachel and grandson Greyson. They're now looking forward to coming along on Sunday to Walk to d'Feet MND Hunter 2023!
Walk to d'Feet MND Hunter 2023 will be on at Speers Point Park on June 25, and Tony Houlcroft is gearing up for the event with the rest of his team made up of family and friends.
Tony was inspired to join the Walk last year by his wife Narelle who has PLS, a form of motor neurone disease, and is back again this year looking to help support others living with MND, their carers and families.
