Ward Sheehan has spent the past year running to raise awareness and much-needed funds to support people living with motor neurone disease – and on March 2, he finished the last 500m with someone very dear to him.

Tim Wells is getting ready to tackle the Runaway Sydney Half Marathon on May 5 in honour of his father Geoff.

Sadly, Geoff lost his battle with MND within just six months after being diagnosed.

After his family received support from MND NSW, Tim has now gone out of his comfort zone to raise funds for MND NSW to ensure other families facing MND can get the assistance they need.

For the past three years, Lynne Munnich has been busily helping MND NSW as one of our valued volunteers.

If you pop into our office or give us a call on a Friday, Lynne is there to assist you as our receptionist. Not only that, but she’s always ready to help with a range of other tasks we need assistance with - like helping us pack and mail our newsletters to you!

Have you seen our new temporary cornflower tattoo?

We have been inspired by your MND tattoos, and have now made blue cornflower tattoos available in our online store so everyone can raise awareness about motor neurone disease and show your support for people living with MND.

Each small cornflower tattoo measures 4cm by 4cm, and lasts approximately 2 to 5 days. Get your tattoo cornflower for just $3 here.
