People with dementia and their carers are invited to participate in a research project being conducted by Alzheimer’s Australia NSW. This research aims to explore the changes in relationships, both social and intimate that occur following the diagnosis of dementia.

The research findings and recommendations will be included in an Alzheimer’s Australia NSW discussion paper, journal articles and conference presentations. The work will also be incorporated into the ongoing policy and advocacy activities of Alzheimer’s Australia.

The survey will take about 20 minutes to complete. The closing date is 29 March, 2017.  You are not required to provide any information that can identify you. By completing the survey you consent to having your responses used in a consolidated form.  To access the online survey, please click on the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RelationshipsAA

If you would prefer to participate in a face to face or phone interview, either by yourself or with a support person of your choice, please contact Ed Stewart at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

This project has been approved by the Macquarie University Human Research Ethics Committee.
