Would you like to brighten the lives of those living with MND and give them experiences to remember?

Thanks to our wonderful fundraisers, we’re now able to offer people living with MND small grants to help make life a little easier and more enjoyable.

While there is still much to learn about motor neurone disease (MND), understanding of this complex condition is continually improving and there are many researchers using a variety of techniques to develop potential new treatments.

While caring for a loved one with MND can be very rewarding, it also involves many stressors. It can be difficult for carers to find time for themselves and since caregiving can be an ongoing challenge, the emotional impact can snowball over time. And so, it’s important to remember that carers also need to take time out to care for themselves so they can continue to provide the best care for others.

We are back in 2021 with a host of online events and get togethers, so we can continue to share information and make connections within our community.

We hopefully will also be able to resume our in-person support groups, but more information to follow on this in January. Keep an eye on our events page and social media for updates.

MND NSW would like to let our MND Community know that we will be closing for the Christmas break from 24th December 2020 and will reopen on Monday 4th January 2021. During this time our phones and emails will not be monitored.
